Full Moon in Virgo (Sun in Pisces) - Total Lunar Eclipse

Virgo rules healing, service, and the body. Pisces is transcendent, focused mainly on the spiritual. Together, they challenge us to walk a spiritual path in a practical way and to find tangible methods to apply ourselves to our spiritual goals. The Virgo/Pisces energies mixed with the Lunar Eclipse make this the opportune time for purification from the inside out. As the moon hides in the Earth’s shadow, we are invited to go deep within, to the cellular level, and clear out all the things in our bodies that are toxic and harmful. We are asked to make changes to how we take care of ourselves, on all levels. What do we do that makes us feel more alive? What do we do that makes us feel sluggish and worn down? What are the spiritual and emotional causes of our physical ailments? How can we address those root causes and nurture the physical at the same time? This is the moon to commit ourselves to mind/body wellness and the boost from the Eclipse energy will be powerful for that purpose.

New Moon in Aquarius – February 6, 2008 at 7:46 PM (Sun in Aquarius)
This is a New Moon to focus on radical change. Aquarius is the visionary, able to see way beyond the current reality and perceived limits to what “could be”. Use this double dose of Aquarius energy to really reach past what you think is possible, and state your intention for manifesting your deepest held dreams. Get to the core of it. What do you really want? Because at the core of it we are all ONE, working for what you want will automatically affect the whole – just as working for the good of the whole will bring personal satisfaction into your own life. Aquarius is always focused on the group consciousness and on how to create a better future. Even though this is a very socially oriented sign, it can also be a bit of a “loner”, so be sure you don’t fall into the trap of thinking that nobody will understand you and your lofty ideals. Reach out and get the support that is always there for you when you need it. It can be challenging to make up your own rules when everything around you tells you things are “supposed” to be another way. Don’t think you have to do this alone.
During your ritual this New Moon, experiment with the energies of “what if?” Think about your most cherished dream and ask yourself “what if this was my reality now. What would that look like?” and let the visions flow. If you’re working alone, write it all down, or speak it outloud. If you’re working with others in a group circle, even better – make it a lively discussion, with each person adding their visions and energy into the mix. The only rule is to not be bound by any rules. Don’t think about how this could become a reality, just play with the ideas.
